DDM Novastar Welcomes New Design Engineer
August 22, 2013 (Philadelphia PA) - DDM Novastar, a U.S. manufacturer of SMT and PCB assembly equipment, is pleased to announce that Jerry Schock has joined its engineering team as Mechanical Designer. Jerry will have responsibility for mechanical product development for DDM Novastar's line of pick and place machines, stencil printers, reflow ovens and related equipment.
Jerry joins DDM Novastar with an extensive mechanical design and electronics background. His experience in both the custom semiconductor and solar manufacturing industries, along with fluent skills in AutoCAD and Solid Works, add significant depth to DDM Novastar's existing manufacturing operations.
Jerry's immediate priority has been the design and development of DDM Novastar's new GF-125, 5-Zone reflow oven, which will be released to the marketplace soon.
In addition to product design and development, Jerry works with the DDM project team on the standardization and enhancement of the company's in-house electronics manufacturing operations. He will work with our channel partners and the DDM team to identify, design and develop future commercial markets and product opportunities. Jerry works out of DDM Novastar's Global headquarters in King of Prussia, PA.
